Joining us on November 4th is Mitzi Perdue, the daughter of one family business titan (her father founded the Sheraton Hotel Chain) and the widow of another, (her late husband was the family business poultry magnate, Frank Perdue). Mitzi is a businesswoman in her own right and started the family wine grape business, now one of the larger suppliers of wine grapes in California. She is thrilled to be sharing her support for the Ekal’s The Future of India Gala on November 4th.

If you cannot join us on the night of the gala, you can still contribute to the future of India. Gifts can be made online to help support this important cause.
Today, Ekal operates 56,000 one-teacher schools that provide free education to 1.5 million children all over India. But there is much more work to do, and 13.5 million children we have not yet reached.
With your help, in collaboration with our global network of philanthropists and non-profit organizations, we can achieve our goal of eradicating illiteracy in India. And with widespread literacy, the door will be open to a far better future for all of India. One where prosperity is universal, where healthy communities thrive, and where India accelerates its rise onto the world stage.
When you support Ekal, you’re supporting India’s future.
Please contact Ranjani Saigal at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about sponsoring this event.
